Our Company History

The Lightning Gaming family of companies were founded in 2004 to develop and market an automated poker table that provided a live poker experience without the need for a dealer or physical cards.

Our Poker Table that we developed was a fully automated electronic poker table that enabled up to nine players to make their wagers and game decisions via individual touch-screen betting stations. Cash was collected by way of a bill acceptor and a ticket printer was directly incorporated into the table. Our groundbreaking Poker Table received Gaming Laboratories Incorporated (“GLI”) certification for Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha High/Low, and Tournament poker.

Our Poker Table was designed to increase revenue and security while simultaneously helping to reduce the labor costs associated with poker play. Our pioneering table successfully achieved the goal of boosting revenue by allowing a larger number of hands to be played per hour. This innovation proportionately increased the “rake” or per-hand fee collected by the operator.

We distributed our poker tables to casinos and other legal gaming venues in North America by our in-house salesforce and internationally through a distribution agreement with Shufflemaster. Several hundred of our poker tables were placed worldwide in casinos, card rooms and cruise ships. After much success, in 2018, we decided to exit the poker table business to focus exclusively on slot machines.

Our initial slot machines were developed using familiar licensed and branded content with exclusive rights to Scrabble, Pink Panther, Popeye, Blondie, Hagar the Horrible, Beetle Bailey, and Flash Gordon. Since 2012, we added a variety of non-branded, proprietary themes including Screaming Links, Quicklink, Fruit Jackpot and Fruit Treasures, just to name a few.

Here at Lightning Gaming, we develop games that offer extreme entertainment value to casino patrons which consequently generates increased revenues for casinos. Our slot machines incorporate advanced graphics on highly engaging games with thrilling game play and bonus rounds that keep players enthralled longer.

Our slot machines are marketed throughout North America. The majority of our slot machines are placed into the market on a daily lease or a revenue sharing model. As of 2020, we have installed over 3,500 slot machine games in casinos throughout the United States.
